Description: The buckle frame is circular with a mid the bar creating two back to back D-shaped loops. The frame has a D-shaped cross-section with the upper facing being convex. A complete but heavily worn gilt-silver posie/posy Finger Ring of Post-Medieval date, c.16th century. Description: The ring has an evenly well-formed band, D-shaped cross section. The interior circumference has an incised inscription typical of the type, in block capitals, it reads '+VERTV PASETH RICHES'. The initial mark is indeterminate.
