A worn and abraded copper-alloy Roman nummus (AE3) of the House of Valentinian (AD 364-378), likely of Valentinian I (r.AD 364-375), Valens (AD 364 - AD378) or Gratian (AD 367 - AD 383). SECVRITAS REI PVBLICAE reverse, Victory advancing left, holding wreath and palm. Minted between 364-378, uncertain mint, mintmark illegible. Possibly Arles mint (see discussion) Reece Period 19.
