An incomplete flint borer of late Bronze Age - Early Iron Age date (c. 1000 BC - 1BC). Description: The borer is sub-triangular in plan with a low flaked dorsal face and rounded convex ventral face. Much of the flaking seems incidental and not finely executed. There is limited short scaled semi abrupt retouch creating the boring point opposite the flat edge with cortex still adhering. An irregular flint scraper likely dating from the late Neolithic to Bronze Age c.3300BC - 1000BC . Description: The scraper was produced from an irregularly struck flake which dog-legs right about halfway along its' length. The internal curve has light short scaled semi-abrupt retouch. The flint is fresh and is a light grey colour with light brown semi-transluscent edges. Measurements: 42.09mm long, 37.32mm wide, 13.3mm thick and 14.51g in weight.
