A medieval cast lead alloy pilgrims ampulla dating between 1350-1500. The hollow flask shaped ampulla is of spencers type two, with a simple rounded bowl and a flared neck there is some damage to the top left quarter and both attachment loops are missing. Both faces are decorated the domed front with what looks like a heart or shield with hatching all around. The flat rear has a crown in the centre. Dimensions: Length; 37.7mm Width: 24.9mm Depth: 8.9mm Weight: 34.7g
