A medieval copper alloy pointed oval seal matrix dating to c.1200-1400. The seal matrix has an incomplete integral lug at the top of the reverse and a narrowing ridge running from this to the point opposite. The lug has a break at the top of the hoop, presumably wear. The internal diameter of the hoop is 2.4mm. Where it extends into the longitudinal ridge is has a moulded transverse ridge and groove. An incomplete copper-alloy Roman finger-ring with a two-tone blue glass setting imitating nicolo, dating to AD 43-410. It is incomplete insofar as the hoop has broken (an old break) and a small section of the hoop is missing. The finger-ring is now a squashed oval in shape. The bezel is the widest and thickest part, measuring 13.5x3.5mm. The bezel is set with an oval intaglio, 11.1x8.4mm. An incomplete copper-alloy Roman mandolin-shaped spoon with tinning or silvering to both front and back, dating to the period c. AD 43 - 410. The spoon is incomplete insofar as it is missing the stem, which would have been offset from the bowl. The neck measures 10.1mm in length from the shoulders of the bowl, 10.2mm at maximum width and 3.2mm in thickness. A groove flanks the expanded horizontal edge where the stem extends. An incomplete Roman copper alloy nail-cleaner strap-end, with crescent-shaped lugs and a) simple punched decoration damage to the loop and bifurcated end, most of which is now missing. dating from the 4th century AD. The object takes the form of a leaf-shaped body but has old breaks at either end, where the bifurcated blade would have extended and across the suspension loop which is arranged at ninety degrees to the body of the artefact (as is typical of nail-cleaners). An incomplete copper-alloy Late Early-Medieval stirrup strap-mount of Williams Class B, Type 3 dating to c.1000-1100. It is incomplete insofar as the two fixing loops are incomplete (old breaks) and one of the two iron rivets is missing (the other is in situ but badly corroded). An incomplete enamelled and gilded copper-alloy medieval horse harness pendant, dating to the period c.1200 - 1400. It is incomplete insofar as the integral suspension loop is damaged and broken, and three of the four fleur-de-lis which originlly projected from the body of the object are now missing.
