A complete copper alloy medieval to post medival strap fitting or button. The head of the fitting is biconvex in shape, and each half of the head has eight flat sides. There is a central knop on the top of the head. The stem and loop are integral and extend from the flat back of the head. The stem is rectangular in cross section, and widens slightly towards the loop.The loop is circular and measures 4.1mm in diameter. A complete medieval copper alloy buckle with composite plate. The buckle frame is oval in shape, with the outer edge widening and forming a triangular point in the centre. The outer edges of the frame are bevelled, and the frame is triangular in cross section. The forked spacer is covered by a rectangular copper alloy sheet folded over. This measures 13.1mm by 14.4mm. It has a central notch close to the pin bar for the pin to sit in. At the attachment end there is rectangular recess with iron corrosion in. An incomplete copper alloy Roman (AD 43- 410) 'hook and eye' type bracelet, consisting of the eyelet and probably just less than half of the bracelet, ending in an old break. The bracelet retains its curved 'C' shape. The eyelet is rectangular with rounded corners at the terminal end, it is perforated with a sub circular hole for attaching to the now missing hook. Below this is a grooved line, with a raised moulded rectangle creating a collar to the eyelet. An incomplete copper alloy Roman Hod Hill type brooch without side lugs, dating AD 43-70. The brooch consists of the length of the bow, and is missing the pin and axis bar, part of the wings and most of the foot. The bow is triangular in shape, expanding at the top for the head with a notch for the pin. The head curves outwards towards the bow and there are traces of iron corrosion in the curve. An incomplete Roman copper alloy T-shaped brooch with hinge mechanism dating AD c.50-150, missing it's pin and terminal end. The tubular wings span 19.5mm with the bow projecting from the centre. One of the wings may have been broken, and there is white concretion in the end. On the reverse of the wings is a central slot for the pin, the hinge bar is still in situ but corroded (and probably iron). The bow has moulded decoration which is very worn. A complete silver post medieval bodkin dating from the 17th century. The bodkin has been bent in two places at almost 90 degrees, both close to the (sharp) point. In shape it has a rounded terminal end 4.2mm wide and narrows to point, 0.6mm wide. The bodkin is hexagonal in cross section and has a longitudinal rectangular slot and a circular hole at the terminal end. There is no decoration on the bodkin. A copper alloy ring of uncertain date, from the Earliest Iron Age to the post-medieval period (c. 800 BC - AD 1800). It is sub circular in shape, the inside edge being more of an oval shape. The ring is flat and rectangular in cross section. The inner edge of the ring is bevelled. The width of the ring varies from 2.2mm to 3.9mm. The narrower parts of the ring are directly opposite suggesting that the ring was used to attach or hold something and has worn at this point. Two copper alloy studs or hob nails, found close together. The heads are conical in shape and c.4mm long, being slightly concave to the underside from where the square-sectioned shank extends. All have smooth, shiny patinas of mid to light green in colour. 1) 8.7mm diameter head, 12.5mm length, 1.03g weight 2) 9.6mm diameter head, 10.2mm length (the shank is curved). 1.06g weight Usually made of iron, hob nails of similar form often date to the Roman or post-medieval period. These two studs were found close to three others - see record HAMP-68F821.

A Late Medieval/ Early Post-Medieval Venetian silver soldino of Doge Leonardo Loredan (1501-1521). It is worn and has a die axis of 8. On the reverse to the left of the figure there is an 'X' scratched onto the coin. During the 15th and 16th centuries the English economy experienced a serious shortage of English-struck halfpennies. In order to fill this gap people began using foreign coinage such as the soldino, meaning 'little shilling', which entered into English currency through Venetian traders.

The buckle measures 27.3mm in length, 24.8mm in width, and is 2.2mm thick. The buckle weighs 4.11g. The buckle is similar to Whitehead 1996, p.39 nos. 272 and 273, which he dates from c.1450-1550.
