Circular lead weight with flattened upper & lower faces and sides which slope gently outwards from c.16mm at the top to c.18mm at the base. It has a straight-sided central perforation of 7mm diameter (slightly distorted by an old impact at the base), and weighs 19.1g and has a well-developed creamy white patination. Weights of this type were in use for very long periods, and this could be any date from Roman to post-medieval, but the degree of patination would favour an earlier date. A lead/tin alloy discoidal flat fronted button with a slightly concave back and a downwards canted edge with a lateral rim, measuring 17.7mm diameter and 1.8mm thick. It has engraved decoration consisting of a central 10mm diameter 5-petalled Tudor rose superimposed on a 5 pointed star. On the reverse is an integral central domed boss which has small stubs from the embedded copper alloy attachment loop, most of which has broken away. There is a button of similar design (in silver, not white metal as here) in Bailey (no 371), which is given an 18th century date.

In the form of a crudely cast shallow cone 19.6mm high, heart shaped at the base with maximum dimensions of 28.0 by 23.7mm, and rising to a blunt top of c.7mm diameter. The object has a central rectangular perforation which is c.4.5 by 2.5mm in plan. It has a thick covering of white patination and weighs 43.5g. Many similar objects have been found at Torksey (Hadley & Richards, Antiquaries Journal, 2016) and are identified as Viking gaming pieces, presumably used in the board game of Hnafatefl.

A Roman copper-alloy Colchester derivative 'Dolphin' type brooch, dating from the 1st century AD. The bow is D-shaped in cross section, and the wings comprise a horizontal half-cylinder with two pairs of moulded circumferential grooves on the upper surfaces. One of the wings is broken about halfway across, and the spring and pin are missing.
