A fragment of a copper-alloy harness fitting terret ring of late Iron Age to Roman date, c.100 BC - AD 100. The terret is a 'simple' type. All that remains is one section of the loop with a collar, and a small section of the sub oval strap bar.  The metal has a light green patina and is worn. A copper alloy massive lipped terret ring of late iron age to early Roman date AD50 - AD200. It has an incomplete projection of a twin spur (lipped projection) within the ring. It would also have had a strap bar concealed at the base. Most known examples come from northern England and Scotland with an emphasis in Aberdeenshire. There are also examples from North Wales. It's very close to an example from Chesters, Northumberland in Jope 2000, 309, 291e and MacGregor 1976, 113.  Weight 42.72g; width 62.55mm; Thickness 16.9mm; Height 46.31mm

A possible copper alloy fob with red and blue enamel decoration. The mount is circular with 4 small openwork sections, which give the object the form of a broad equal-armed cross sitting within a circle. Around the outer edge of the fob are small enamelled cells which are coloured alternately red and blue. Most of these cells are now missing, and it is not possible to estimate the number of cells that would have originally been present. Fragment of a copper alloy simple terret ring dating to the Late Iron Age/Early Roman period (AD 43 -150). The curved fragment has broadly circular section which expands in diameter from one end to the other from a diameter of 7.20mm to 10.11mm. At each end there is a circular collar-formed terminal. At the small diameter end the collar has a diameter of 8.45mm, while at the large diameter end the collar is 12.17mm.
