An incomplete copper-alloy book clasp of the post medieval period (c.1500-1700). The clasp it sub-rectangular in plan and is formed from a single metal sheet that is 0.68 mm thick. The There is a pierced hole at one end that has a diameter of 2.86mm. An arc of incised decoration can be seen around the piercing.
