An incomplete Medieval copper alloy sword pommel, c. 1250-1400 AD, The pommel is comprised of five splayed lobes which ascend in height from either side towards a central larger and taller lobe, creating a symmetrical effect. The base is curved with a hollow central slot which gives way into a hollow central tube. the top of the central lobe has broken off. The artefact has a greenish/brown corrosion and some light abrasion and chipping, likely as a result of post-depositional factors. A complete hollow cast copper-alloy pommel probably from a dagger of medieval to post-medieval date (c. AD 1400 – c. AD 1600). A copper-alloy spectacle buckle, with pin. The frame has two oval loops which are convex in cross-section. one end has an incised notch which serves as a pin rest. The ends of each buckle are pointed. The strap bar has a triangular cross section. The frame features a knopps of each side of the projecting strap bar. It is not possible to see if there are any markings on the inside bottom of the cup due to corrosion and/or extant residue. Description: Incomplete silver annular brooch of the Medieval period (1350-1400). The subcircular frame has a flattened, rectangular cross-section. The frame is undecorated on the reverse. An incomplete copper-alloy medieval buckle that conforms well to a Meols type 10 c.AD 1350 - 1400. The pin is missing, leaving just the frame. The buckle is a single looped, oval with a narrowed and offset bar and ornate outer edges. Two prominent knops flank two grooves on the outer edge of the loop which act as rests for the pin. The buckle weighs 4.15g; is 20.27mm deep and 26.09mm wide.
