An incomplete copper alloy Roman brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill, dated to the second part of the first century. The spring and cord are still in place as is the axis bar and lug. Both the pin and catch plate are missing. The bow is D shape in cross section and tapers to a break in antiquity where the catch plate would have started. An incomplete and worn cast copper alloy Colchester derivative (Polden Hill) Roman brooch, with pierced lug. The pin is missing, as is the end of the bow and catch plate, having been broken in antiquity. The copper alloy axis bar and spring are still in place, the latter of which has 10 turns, the wings are complete with flat and pierced end cap.. An incomplete copper-alloy Trumpet brooch of Roman date, c. AD 75 - 175. The loop, pin, lower bow foot and catchplate are missing. The head of the brooch is semi-circular in shape, with a concave reverse which retains two tubular lugs. An axis bar remains fitted through the lugs, with the remains of the pin fitted around the axis bar in the space between the two lugs, and a fixture potentially a loop has broken off. A complete cast copper-alloy Roman Colchester derivative, Polden Hill type brooch, dating from c. AD 50-90. The brooch is misshapen in as much as the centre of the bow and pin is bent inwards by approximately 30 degrees. This is a later example with a pierced lug that holds the spring. The wings are relatively short and still has the axis bar and end plate although the latter is worn. The wings are decorated with two pairs of incised vertical grooves. An incomplete Roman copper alloy Developed T-shaped brooch, from the middle of the 1st century to the middle of the 2nd century. The brooch is almost complete missing only the hinged pin. It has solid cast wings, each with two parallel and transverse incised lines, and the chain loop perforation is not drilled. The bow is solid and the head is sub rectangular being divided into two and framed by a raised rib. A complete medieval cast copper alloy buckle frame. The frame is D-shaped in plan and oval in section with a widened outer edge and a slightly offset strap bar. There is a transverse groove across the front in the centre of the outer edge making a pin rest. A similar example is described in record SOM-CA5700 It is 24.1mm long, 18.5mm wide and 2.7mm thick; it weighs 2.8g.

A complete Medieval copper-alloy single-looped roller framed buckle (c. 1250-c. 1400). It has an oval shaped frame with an offset and narrowed bar, thickened at the outer edge. At the outer edge, on the front and rear, there are two transverse ridges as decoration. At each corner of the outer edge there is a rounded knop.
