A copper alloy roman ear scoop/nail cleaner. The cleaner end is square in section and tapers to what would have been a point but is now rounded through movement in the ploughsoil, this end is bent at approximately 20 degrees. The middle of the instrument is waisted, becomes bulbous then sub rectangular in section and tapers to a flattened end that would have acted as a scoop. The instrument has a green/brown patina Length: 43.1mm Diameter: 3.6mm Weight: 1.7gms.

A copper alloy post medieval asymmetrical strap fitting dating to AD 1600 - 1700. The mount is slightly convex from the front and consists of a cordate (heart-shaped) plate which tapers to a fleur-de-lys shaped terminal consisting of two lobes flanking a central elongated knop. Either lobe features an off centre cast aperture. The reverse is concave, with two doubled over integral spikes projecting from the reverse. A complete cast copper alloy openwork mount or hooked tag of Early Post Medieval dating. The mount is sub circular in plan, with a integrally cast projecting hook on one side. It would have originally been one of a pair, with its partner having an integrally cast loop to receive the hook. The decoration on the front consists of a Crescent moon, with a face present, looking towards a six pointed star. The hook extends from the star. The back of the mount is plain and undecorated. A worn Iron Age silver unit of the Western Region Dobunni tribe dating to the period c. 60-25 BC. The coin is a variant of the 'Cotswold Eagle' type, with an obverse head similar to Cottam's (2010:104) Head Type D. The cross motif on the reverse of the coin under the horse's body is derived from a cock's head, however this example does appear a later style than is usually seen on most Cotswold Eagle issues. cf.
