The object is a possible vessel handle. The object is made of cast copper alloy and is incomplete. In cross-section the object is sub-circular, while in plan the object comprises of a traverse (or longitudinal) piece of copper, which is bent at 45° back under itself. The handle is attached to another piece of copper, which is not part of the handle. Due to heavy abrasion however it is impossible to decipher any distinct shape and what the item may be. The object is 42.7mm long, 31.1mm wide, 8.7mm thick and weighs 26.81mm.
