A worn, cast uniface post lead token of the Post-Medieval to Early Modern Period dating to AD 1500-1850. Description: The token is roughly circular, on obverse side is the raised letter B and the reverse side is plain, It has a grey patina. A cast lead two disc cloth seal linked with a connecting strip which joins the discs.One disc has a rivet which passes through a corresponding hole in the second disc. Both discs have been flattened and stamped. The head of the flattened rivet has a stamped small folded ribbon design visible on the left half.On the reverse of disc one, which the rivet is attached to, is the incised number 44 (height of numbers 10.56mm). A group of 5 cast lead shots / musket balls. 2 of similar size plus 1 smaller and 2 larger. The 2 larger ones and smallest appear to have been fired as there are chunks out of them with a flat edge and the largest has striations on the surface.
