An incomplete post medieval ceramic tobacco pipe dating AD1610-1640. This tobacco pipe has a small, rounded bowl, which has an internal diameter of 11.12 mm. The bowl is set at an oblique angle to the stem and there is a milled design running around the rim. There is part of a spur heel at the junction between the bowl and the stem. None of the stem is present as it is broken near the bowl. The dating of the pipe is based on the dating chart in Atkinson & Oswald (1969) as type 8 (1610-1640AD) . What is presumably the obverse side has a central raised pellet and is surrounded by eight geometrivally aligned pellets. Four alternate pellets are circled by beading. The obverse edge is beaded. An incomplete cast copper-alloy double-looped buckle of post medieval date, 1600-1720. It is sub-oval in shape with the top edges being bevelled and the underneath flat, with a central pin bar. The frame has rounded ends and trefoil sides. The strap bar has three incised lines on both sides where the bar meets the frame. These lines make the frame appear raised between the lines, but this section is flush with the rest of the frame. An incomplete cast copper alloy, double loop, spectacle buckle dating from the early Post-Medieval period, AD 1500 - 1650. An incomplete late Medieval to post medieval ( 1500-1650AD ) cast copper-alloy single loop rectangular buckle. Square frame with solid pointed front edge, with all frame edges being bevelled. Narrowed strap bar with knops either side. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The pin is missing. The buckle has a light green patina with some light brown spots. Length 20.33mm, width 18.02mm, thickness 1.71mm, weight 2g. A parallel for this buckle exits on the PAS database record WILT-74B703. This type of buckle frame is normally double-looped; compare, for example SUR-9BDF44.

A complete cast copper alloy Medieval to Post Medieval double-looped buckle dating c.1350-1650AD, complete with pin. The buckle is of plain form with no adornments and has a double looped oval frame with a strap-bar at its midpoint.. Preserved in good condition with an even green patina. There is a groove for the pin to rest in at the mid point of both frames. The buckle measures 19.25mm long, 13.41mm at the widest part of the frame, 11.74mm wide at the central bar point , 2.02mm thick and weighs 1.6g. A very similar buckle can be seen in Whitehead (1996) p. 53, no. 295.

An incomplete copper-alloy Roman zoomorphic plate brooch in the form of a seated hen or cockerel. Only the neck and head of the bird survive, the remainder now missing due to old breaks. The neck is conical in form, terminating in old breaks at its base. At its top the neck tapers towards the head. A complete sheet iron late Medieval or Post Medieval marlin spike. The spike is 240mm long, and has a maximum diameter of 57.66mm at the open end. The spike reduces in diameter down to a broad pointed end. The spike was constructed by wrapping the metal around a mould and overlapping the sides and hammering the overlapping edges together under heat. An incomplete Roman tile, part of a roof tile or tegula. The tile is a dull orange clay fabric of a type typically used within the London area from the mid 1st century to the 2nd century AD. ( As described by the Museum of London when shown ). The tile is 151.1mm wide which represents its original size, 124.56mm long at max, original length unknown due to old breaks across the tile. There are two holes through the tile at a slight angle where nails would have been driven through the tile to secure it. Both inner and outer surfaces are rough.

It has a small bulb on the ventral face and a faintly rippled ventral surface. There is evidence of occasional crude retouch along both sides and at the pointed end. The interior is a reddish pink colour. The fabric is hard fired and light grey in colour. There is a small piece of floral design visible on the sherd.
