Probably incomplete Post Medieval - Modern silver whistle in three parts. The whistle is now squashed with the top and bottom plates separated but found together. The whistle is bulbous in shape with an originally circular cross sectioned mouth end widening and thickening to a rounded, circular or oval cross sectioned end. The whistle is made of a front and back plate with a flat plate running down the centre internally dividing it completely into a front and back section. A compete silver gilt bodkin. The bodkin is needle shaped in plan, ie it has a round ended widened and flattened head below which the needle is circular in cross section and fairly straight sided for approximately four fifths of its length before ending in an elaborate terminal. Description: A Post-medieval silver gilt finger ring with a posy inscription on the inside. The hoop has a crack completely through it at one point but is still in shape. The outer side is plain and shallowly convex. The inner side is flat giving a shallow D-shaped cross section. The inscription on the inside, in Roman capitals, reads: I LIVE IN HoP. There is no maker’s mark. The gilding is mostly in place although thinned giving the ring a pale gold colour. There are a few worn areas on the inner side where the silver shows through.

An incomplete silver gilt dress hook dating to the Post Medieval period. The hook itself is broken, with the original terminal missing. However, the loop survives and there is little to no damage to the plate. The thick plate is rectangular in shape, with a series of seven globular knops placed at regular intervals around the perimeter. Description: A complete Medieval silver finger ring with inscription on the outer side. The hoop is rectangular in cross section and continuous, with no bezel. The outer side is decorated with the inscribed letters + A + G + L + A running around the hoop, the letters are evenly spaced around the loop and separated by a cross potent, the A's unbarred and with a top bar.
The ring appears to have been cleaned or suffered from corrosion in the soil.

A post-medieval silver-gilt dress pin dating to 16th century. The pin consists of the head and a short part of the shaft.
The head is spherical and probably hollow and contains the end of the pin shaft. It is formed of two hemispheres soldered together. The join is covered by a double band of wire filigree. It is decorated with twisted silver-gilt wire filigree. Each hemisphere has four large filigree circles and within each circle are further four circles surrounding a pellet. Description: A Medieval silver annular brooch. The brooch consists of a simple, undecorated circular frame, bevelled externally on the front face and internally on the reverse. The frame has a constriction to accommodate a simple pin, also of silver and surviving in situ, with the constriction flanked by expanded collars, which are sub-piriform in cross section.
