Post medieval silver openwork buckle frame, probably a shoe buckle, dating to AD 1769 to 1793. The buckle frame is oval and distinctly arched with the short edges (top and bottom edges) convex curved. The buckle was in two pieces when found, about a quarter had become detached, and has been repaired with the solder visible on the back. The front is decorated with a moulded design of four quatrefoils flanked by scrolling and openwork. One flower is in the centre of each side. Treasure case 2018 T268: Disclaimed, returned to finder Description: Fragment of a Roman silver finger ring which has been broken across the bezel and across the lower part of the angled shoulder, possibly at a point it was kneeled. The ring is flat in section with a flat bezel. Too little of the bezel remains to recognise its shape, although it was probably oval. The remaining shoulder tapers in width away from the bezel, one edge appears complete and is slightly convex, the other is broken.
