Plain silver needle of uncertain, probably Post Medieval date, c. AD 1400-1950. The needle has a sub-rectangular cross sectioned eye end which ends in a rounded terminal and then narrows and thins into the round shaft. At the point it ends in a flat end, probably a break as it is neither pointed nor rounded. The needle has a rectangular eye with slightly rounded corners and between the eye and the adjacent end there is a groove down each wide face, continuing the indent of the eye. A complete late Medieval to Post-Medieval Silver gilt finger ring. The ring has raised border on the exterior of the hoop and a mouldings pattern within that. The pattern consists of ‘H’s alternating with oval within borders of transverse raised lines. The inner face is plain with small indentations running along the circumference of the ring. The silver gilt surface presents small green areas of copper alloy corrosion both on the outer and inner side of the ring. Description: An incomplete silver dress hook dating to c. AD 1450-1600. The hook consists of one-piece cast in the form of a shell with two attachment-knops. A very small silver annular brooch dating to Medieval period. It is complete with separate pin in situ. The frame has rounded edges and a circular cross-section. It has a small constriction to hold the pin. The pin is circular in section and is looped loosely around the bar. It tapers to a rounded point and it is now slightly distorted.
