Medieval, copper-alloy, large, circular mount depicting the white boar of Richard III, dating to the later 15th century (1470-1485). The mount is gilded, silvered and enamelled and consists of two parts: a decorated disc held in a separate circular frame which has integral rivets and separate roves.
The 63.4mm diameter disc has a slightly raised design of a boar walking left on an area of ground. Around this is an opaque red enamel background which ends before it meets the frame with the remainder gilded. There are areas of damage to this background particularly at 12 and 6 o'clo…

Body sherd from a glazed medieval jug with applied strip on the outer face. The high fired fabric is a reduced mid-grey with a mid-buff on the inner surface only. It has common fine-medium sand temper and very occasional angular pieces of patinated chert/flint up to 1.9mm and very occasional rounded quartz up to 1.2mm. The vessel appears to be wheel thrown with an green glaze on the outer face. On the outer face is a short section of an applied strip, 9.8mm wide and appearing to curve slightly. The strip is decorated with regularly spaced diagonal slashes.

A cast iron ball, probably round shot, that is a cannon ball, dating from the Post Medieval period, about AD1500-1900. The object, which is pitted and corroded, has a diameter of c.100mm and a weight of 3919g, c. 4kg.
In recording a similar piece Kinnear states: This corresponds closely with the dimensions and weight of four inch, 'nine-pounder' (weighing 9lbs) ordnance. Shot of this size were used in the 16th and 17th centuries in a gun known as the Demi Culverin. However, the shot could also date from the later period.
