A silver-gilt dress-hook cast on one plane, the triangular backplate with scalloped edges. The domed boss with applied filigree and granulated ornament, some losses. The reverse soldered with transverse bar, the curved fastening hook missing. 16th Century. Length: 14 mm. Post Medieval silver lace tag/lace chape. Silver sheet folded into truncated cone shape; two pierced holes at lower edge for attachment. Etched decoration at lower edge and down towards smaller end on two sides. 17th Century? In terms of age and as the object contains a minimum of 10% precious metal it qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996 (Dr Dora Thornton, Curator of Renaissance Collections, The British Museum, 5th December 2006).

A cast silver gilt pin of early post-medieval date. The shaft of the pin has been bent backwards but the pin would originally have been about 80mm in length. The shaft has a diameter of 2.3mm and the spherical head measures 11.8mm in diameter. The head is decorated with filigree comprising a central horizontal band and three circles on each hemisphere. Inside each of these larger circles there are a further three small circles and another small circle appears in between each of the larger circles. A cast silver gilt hooked tag of sixteenth century date. The hooked tag measures 31mm in length, 24.2mm in width and 7.8mm in thickness. It weighs 10.15g. It has a triangular backplate with cusped outline on which there are three hemi-spheres, each decorated with applied filigree. On each dome there are three filigree circles.
