A small Roman cast copper-alloy terminal in the form of an eagle's head, possibly from a knife or razor. The partially hollow terminal has a cylindrical socket. The poorly-executed bird holds a small spherical object, probably representing a cake or pellet of food, in its beak. Between the beak and the eye there is a deeply grroved, slightly curving line on either side. The eyes, unusually, are indicated by incised vertical, pointed ovals. One rim sherd is slightly everted and the other more so. A plain copper alloy pennanular finger ring. The ring has been cast in one long strip and then bent to form a ring shape. The two ends are damaged. The cross section is a long oval with pointed ends and the finger ring has a maximum diameter of 20.12mm. The hoop is 6.95mm wide and 2.45mm thick at the widest points. It weighs 3.88g. Dating such an undiagnostic ring is difficult and it may be Roman or later.

A possible cast copper alloy toilet spoon which may be of Roman date. The bowl of the spoon is flat and oval (18.5mm long by 9.79mm wide by 1.3mm thick) with a slight forward bend. The shaft is 19.83mm in length with a rectangular cross section and there is a hint of a collar at the bowl end. The stem widens towards the end, where there is a broken suspension loop which is turned through ninety degrees. A cast copper alloy T-shape brooch of early Roman date. The cylindrical wings measure 27.06mm in length and have a diameter of 4.1mm. They conceal the axis bar for the hinged pin, which is missing. They are undecorated except for a vertical grooved line close to each end. The bow is D-shaped, with the curved side on the reverse. It does not project very far forward and has a gentle S-shape. It is 34.73mm in length, it has a maximum thickness of 3.36mm and the end is damaged. There is no trace of a catchplate. The upper part of the bow is 9.25mm wide and it tapers to 4.29mm at the end. …
