A tertiary flint waste flake of probable Neolithic date. The broken flake measures 47mm by 36.3mm by 6.7mm and weighs 8.72g. At the proximal end is the striking platform. Below this on the ventral surface is the bulb of percussion, a pronounced bulbar scar and radiating ripples. On the dorsal surface there are several flaking scars. The flake has snapped part way along its length. The light to mid grey flint has a mid-gloss patina.
