A cast lead pilgrim badge of medieval date. The badge measures 49.11mm in length, 25.15mm in width, its maximum thickness is 4.45mm and it weighs 6.12g. The front of the badge is moulded to represent the bust of St Thomas Becket, indicating that this was a product of his shrine at Canterbury, Kent.
The archbishop wears a mitre which has a raised central vertical panel on which there is an off-centre line of raised dots. The rest of the mitre is filled with cross hatching. The top of the mitre has been bent backwards but it appears to have been topped with a cross. The face has well-de…

A small cast copper alloy spoon dating to the first or second century AD. The round spoon bowl measures around 21mm in diameter, although the edge is damaged in several places. The stem has a circular cross section with a diameter of around 2mm. It has been bent back around towards the bowl and survives to a length of about 50mm. The end is broken. This sppon can be classified as a Crummy Type 1 (Crummy 1983, 69).

A cast lead steelyard weight of probable Roman date. The weight is biconical (diameter 23mm, height 20.5mm) with a central shaft which contains a thin length of copper alloy. This would have been bent to form a hook at the apex, although the hook survives only to a length of about 10mm and is now bent out of shape.
