A cast copper alloy cup weight, which would have been one of a set of nested weights. The weight is in the form of a small circular cup, which tapers slightly towards the base (upper diameter: 20.28mm, base diameter: 18.64mm). The sides of the cup are 9.53mm tall and around 2.4mm thick and the object weighs 10.02g. The surface is patchy and worn.

A cast copper alloy flask which may have been used as a flask for holy oil, of probable medieval date. The flask is 56.9mm high and weighs 69.3g. It has a circular profile and a convex base with a maximum diameter of 39.75mm which narrows to 17.7mm at the top. On opposite sides, just below the circular opening, there are two flat sub-rectangular lugs. Four pottery sherds of medieval date. The sherds include one everted rim sherd, one base angle sherd and two body sherds. The fabric is fairly course and sandy with moderate sub-rounded to angular flint and quartz pieces (up to 5mm). Three of the sherds have buff to orange oxidised surfaces and reduced grey cores. The other sherd is oxidised all the way through, with the exception of the internal surface, which is reduced. The sherds probably come from cooking pots of 11th to 13th century date. A cast copper leg from a ewer (water jug), of medieval date. The fragment measures 55.9mm by 18.5mm by 11.7mm and weighs 35g. It would have been one of three on a complete vessel. The inside face of the leg is flat and the outside face is faceted to form an irregular hexagonal cross-section. Immediately above the foot there is a horizontal ridge. The foot projects forward and has a rounded terminal. This ewer foot dates from the fourteenth of fifteenth century. The vessel of which it formed part would have been used to hold water for hand-washing (Lewis 1987).

It has a flat back and a convex front, a rounded terminal end and widens towards the broken end to form a large curved ridge. The leg would have been one of three on the original vessel.

The cast copper alloy handle from a skillet or posnet of probable post medieval date. The handle measures 78.7mm by 23.2mm by 18.4mm and weighs 87.3g. The main part of the handle has a flat upper surface and a convex base, forming a D-shaped cross section. It narrows slightly towards the dropped zoomorphic terminal. The flat part of the handle is decorated with incised lines based around central lozenges. A similar handle can be seen in 'Medieval and Post-Medieval Finds from Exeter 1971-80.' (1984, p. 345, fig. 192, no. 159). The Exeter example is not closely dated but is pre-18th century.

Part of a lug handle from a cast copper alloy cauldron of medieval or early post-medieval date. The fragment measures 59.6mm by 16.7mm by 14.8mm and weighs 70.28g. It has an oval cross-section. It is plain, featureless and undecorated with a fairly rough surface. The end which would have adjoined the cauldron's body is angled at 45 degrees. The lug handle would have been one of two on a complete vessel.

A rim sherd from a Coarse Sandy ware bowl of early post-medieval date. The sandy fabric is oxidised with slightly reduced surfaces and external sooting. It contains moderate fine mica. The bowl would originally have had a flat rim with an external upwards projecting flange, a rim form which may have acted as a lid seat. The bowl's body would have then narrowed at an angle of about 45 degrees and was probably internally glazed. A small fragment of Samian ware pottery of early Roman date. The fragment measures 15.1mm by 12.7mm by 4.1mm and weighs 0.78g. The internal surface has a brownish-orange slip but the external surface is very worn and all traces of slip have been removed. The fabric is an oxidised pinkish buff, with occasional flecks of mica. The sherd is likely to be from a vessel produced at Lezoux in Central Gaul.

A small body sherd from a thin walled vessel of probable late medieval to post medieval date. The earthenware fabric contains moderate very small sub-angular to rounded quartz and occasional small sub-angular brown-red iron oxide. The sherd has orange oxidised surfaces and a grey reduced core. The sherd is internally glazed with a brownish-green lead glaze. The fabric has a slightly reddish to purple colour, indicating a higher iron content in the clay than South Somerset products. It may come from an East Devon/West Somerset production site.

A handle sherd of probable seventeenth century date. The sherd has a quatrefoil-shaped cross-section and probably formed part of the handle of a bucket pot. The fabric contains abundant very fine (>0.1mm) quartz sand, moderate small (>2.5mm) rounded iron oxide and moderate very fine mica particles. The mica appears to be more common on the surfaces. The sherd has light orange oxidised surfaces and a reduced grey core. There are traces of a yellow lead glaze in several places. Two large conjoining base sherds from a wheel-thrown jug of medieval date. The sherds have a grey reduced core and oxidised orange surfaces. The fabric contains moderate fine quartz sand, occasional iron oxide (up to 4mm) and some larger quartz pieces (up to 1mm). There are splashes of an external green lead glaze. The base of vessel displays possible rouletted decoration. Its curvature indicates a former diameter of 16cm. The jug was probably produced at one of the south/west Somerset production centres.
