A rim sherd from a Coarse Sandy ware bowl of early post-medieval date. The sandy fabric is oxidised with slightly reduced surfaces and external sooting. It contains moderate fine mica. The bowl would originally have had a flat rim with an external upwards projecting flange, a rim form which may have acted as a lid seat. The bowl's body would have then narrowed at an angle of about 45 degrees and was probably internally glazed. Two small flint waste flakes of probable Neolithic or early Bronze Age date. One is primary and the other secondary, with a small area of cortex remaining at the distal end. Both exhibit striking platforms at the proximal ends, bulbs of percussion and slight ripples on the ventral surface and a number of flaking scars on the dorsal surface. The small waste flake has a marked bulbar scar. Both have some edge damage. The light to mid-brown flint has a mid-gloss patina.

A cast copper alloy harness pendant of medieval date. The cinquefoil pendant measures 50.5mm by 55.5mm by 3.8mm and weighs 25.18g. It consists of five lobes; the lower four are square with rounded corners and the upper arm narrows towards an integral suspension loop, which is turned through 90 degrees. The loop is broken and one of the lower lobes has been bent backwards. The front of the pendant is decorated with blue enamel. Part of a lug handle from a cast copper alloy cauldron of medieval or early post-medieval date. The fragment measures 59.6mm by 16.7mm by 14.8mm and weighs 70.28g. It has an oval cross-section. It is plain, featureless and undecorated with a fairly rough surface. The end which would have adjoined the cauldron's body is angled at 45 degrees. The lug handle would have been one of two on a complete vessel.

A cast copper-alloy drop handle lug which probably formed part of a chafing dish of late medieval or post-medieval date. Similar handle lugs were also used for small chests and casks. The lug measures 21.8mm by 14.1mm by 9.1mm, and weighs 13.24g. It is in the form of a flat oval cylinder, which has a central circular perforation (diameter 7.8mm) and a flared end from which projects the remains of an integral rivet. A stamped and hammered sheet copper alloy thimble of probable post-medieval date. The thimble has been squashed but is 18.7mm high and the narrow end has a diameter of about 13mm. It weighs 5.21g. It has been made in one piece with a flat top. The hand-punched indentations are in the form of a right-hand spiral, there is no tonsure and there is a faint maker's mark at the start of the spiral, in the form of a five pointed star with squared 'points'. The cast copper alloy handle from a skillet or posnet of probable post medieval date. The handle measures 78.7mm by 23.2mm by 18.4mm and weighs 87.3g. The main part of the handle has a flat upper surface and a convex base, forming a D-shaped cross section. It narrows slightly towards the dropped zoomorphic terminal. The flat part of the handle is decorated with incised lines based around central lozenges. A similar handle can be seen in 'Medieval and Post-Medieval Finds from Exeter 1971-80.' (1984, p. 345, fig. 192, no. 159). The Exeter example is not closely dated but is pre-18th century.

Post Medieval silver lace tag/lace chape. Silver sheet folded into truncated cone shape; two pierced holes at lower edge for attachment. Etched decoration at lower edge and down towards smaller end on two sides. 17th Century? In terms of age and as the object contains a minimum of 10% precious metal it qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996 (Dr Dora Thornton, Curator of Renaissance Collections, The British Museum, 5th December 2006).

A cast copper alloy strap end of late medieval date. The openwork one-piece strap end measures 65.5mm by 42.8mm by 8.1mm and weighs 18.4g. It consists of an openwork roundel with a square attachment edge on one side and an oval terminal opposite. The attachment edge contains two rivet holes and the oval terminal is turned through 90 degrees and perforated in the centre. A large cast copper alloy annular buckle or brooch of medieval date. The object measures 60.3mm in diameter, its circular cross section has a diameter of 7.7mm and it weighs 53.73g. On one side there is a constriction for the sheet copper alloy pin, which is wrapped around the frame and tapers to a point, although the end is damaged. A cast copper alloy finger ring of medieval date. The hoop has a diameter of 20.9mm, a width of around 1.8mm and a thickness of around 1.4mm. The ring weighs 2.4g. The bezel is in the form of a quatrefoil with an additional central raised lobe and measures 9.8mm by 9.8mm by 6.6mm high. In each of the five lobes there is a round setting containing the off-white remains of the adhesive used to secure glass or gems. One either side of the bezel is a shoulder defined by a plain transverse ridge. Geoff Egan suggests a later 13th to 15th century date.

A cast copper alloy buckle of probable post-medieval date. The plain double frame rectangular buckle measures 24.9mm by 20mm by 2.4mm and weighs 3.64g. The back is flat and the front is slightly bevelled. Part of the buckle is distorted but originally both loops were the same shape and size. The pin is missing. This buckle probably dates from the seventeenth century.
