A complete copper-alloy gilded mount of Early-medieval date. The mount is in two fragments, it is circular in plan and broadly rectangular in cross section. The front face of the mount is decorated with a central knop surrounded by a circumferential groove and a raised circumferential band. The outer edge is also decorated with a circumferential groove and band. In between the mount is decorated with intertwined possible beasts. Due to wear it is difficult to discern. There are traces of gilding visible on on the front face.

An incomplete Post-Medieval (1500-1700) copper alloy openwork belt mount or strap fitting, missing most of its integral spikes to the reverse. Measures 25.92x18.19x4.49mm and weighs 1.82g.
The belt mount is lozenge-shaped and flat, with a central lozenge-shaped hole (measuring 8.07x11.21mm). To the reverse are the two stub-like remains of the integral spikes, centrally aligned and one at each end.
The surface of the metal is pitted in places and much of the original green/ brown patina has been lost.

An incomplete Early Early-Medieval sixth-century copper-alloy rectangular mount, rather bent (possibly from heat distortion) and missing one corner (jagged break). It measures 25.78x22.70x5.99mm and weighs 6.76g.
To the reverse are two intact and one incomplete rivets, one in each corner. Those that survive measures 2-3mm in diameter. The thickness of the plate without the rivets is 3.00mm. The original patina seems to survive in the corners of the reverse with a missing pitted patch at the centre.

A circular copper alloy mount or possible pendant ornament of possible Early Early-Medieval date (c.500-750), with an openwork triskele design at the centre, each arm supported by a narrow projection from the surround. At the cetre of the triskele is a small circular depression.
The object measures 64mm in diameter and varies in thickness between 0.8mm and 1.2mm, being thickest at the centre and thinning towards the edges, which are slightly convex from the front and concave from the back. It weighs 20.6g. To the reverse there are no signs of attachment.

An undatable but probably Bronze Age to Iron Age (2150 BC - AD 100) copper alloy openwork mount, curving in profile and lozenge-shaped. It measures 34.80x36.84x2.09mm and weighs 5.9g.
The mount is concave to the reverse and convex to the front. Its edges are concave. In two opposing corners is a rivet hole, 2.45mm and 2.67mm in diameter. An Early Post-Medieval (1500-1700) copper alloy mount with a white-metal coating (probably tinning), apparently phallic in form but may also represent a stylised bird-in-flight. Measures 20.56x10.67x5.04mm (without the outward-bent spikes 17.64mm long) and weighs 1.65g.
The mount is bifurcate at one end, waisted in the centre and cut in a triangle at the other end. To the reverse are two bent spikes for attachment to leather, one bent outwards, one to the side.

An Early Post-Medieval (1500-1700) copper alloy gilt mount or stud, with much of the gilding missing. The single shank to the reverse is bent to one side. Measures 8.75mm in length (originally c. 21mm) and weighs 3.03g.

A Post-Medieval (1500-1700) copper alloy mount with enamel decoration and integral spikes to the reverse. It measures 26.28x8.77x5.97mm and weighs 2.4g.
The mount is broadly foliate in form, rather like a waisted tulip with trefoil top-edge and stem below. The body of the flower has traces of white and blue enamel; the top of the stem has traces of white enamel. Inside the flower is an inverted V-shaped of copper alloy, above a copper alloy transverse rib and circular area below. To the reverse are two bent spikes.

An incomplete Medieval (1200-1500) copper alloy gilt mount in the form a fleur-de-lis, with damage to one of its leaves. It measures 15.74x15.39x4.01mm and weighs 0.8g.
The copper alloy is 0.91mm thick and has a 2.03mm diameter rivet hole at the top of the central stem. Traces of gilding remain around this area. The mount is hollow to the reverse.

A Post-Medieval (1600-1700) copper alloy domed mount with two attachment spikes on the reverse. It measures 24.66x22.68x9.55mm and weighs 4.4g.
The mount has a domed centre c.18mm diameter with a c.3mm wide rim around. The rim is decorated with punched annulets. The domed area has a central punched ring-and-dot with six further ring-and-dots around. Around the edges of the dome, at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock, is a trio of punched annulets touching the arrangement at the centre. The area between the punched decoration is filled with cross-hatching.

An incomplete copper alloy gilded and champlevé enamelled mount of Medieval date (1150 - 1250), missing its rivets. It measures 42.15x15.99x7.40mm and weighs 7.8g.
The mount is in the form of a human figure with a solid oval head, rather more round to the front, and a hollow-backed body, convex to the front. It is worn and corroded but facial features (prominent nose, mouth, eye hollows) are visible on the head, as well as traces of gilding. The eyes are set with blue glass pellets.

A probably Medieval (1050-1200) copper alloy mount with a decorated rectangular plate from which a triangular tab extends at roughly 90 degrees. One corner at the end of the tab is turned over to show a circular piercing 0.85mm in diameter. The object measures 44.42x26.07x5.97mm and weighs 8.02g.

The mount is convex to the front and slightly hollowed to the reverse. It is decorated with a double transverse groove across the centre. An incomplete copper-alloy 11th century Anglo-Scandinavian mount, consisting of an openwork plate decorated in the Late Viking Ringerike style and broken at one end. It measures 48.31x35.07x2.40mm and weighs 17.75g.
The plate is roughly triangular in shape, with the upper horizontal edge broken. The plate depicts two creatures facing inwards with lozenge-shaped eyes along the edges with two holes beneath them. There is another hole at the point between them. The area at the centre of the plate is plain and undecorated.

A mount cast in copper alloy with traces of gilding, of probable Late Medieval date (early 16th century). It measures 30.50x25.20x1.24mm and weighs 4.6g.
The object is an elaborate shield shape, with rounded short sides and cusped longer sides. The long sides are formed of two semicircular removals that form points. Towards the apexes on the shorter sides are small perforated (c.1mm diameter) semicircular protrusions for attachment; no rivets survive.
