At the top there is a small projection between the attachment lobes, cf. ibid. no. 119. Much of the front is obscured by rust deposits but surrounded by drilled dots an approximately circular area was probably inlaid with niello and silver wire. Length 29.4mm. Width 14.3mm. 9th century.
