Incomplete Roman copper alloy Colchester Derivative Hinged brooch with an iron axis bar. The pin, the lower part of the bow and all of the catchplate are missing. The wings are decorated with two pairs of vertical grooves. The plain bow is of pentagonal cross-section. Wingspan 27mm. Extant length 21.5mm. c.55 - c.80 AD.
