Medieval gilt copper alloy trefoil-shaped buckle plate, folded widthways and narrowed and shortened on reverse, with recessed sides, pin slot and four rivet holes, one in the centre of each foil, the larger with a dome-headed copper alloy rivet and a smaller, possibly secondary, rivet offset to one side. A sub-triangular panel with incised foliate decoration separates the foils. Both loops have three engraved longitudinal linesand a transverse bordering line at the junction with the plate. Length 39mm. Width 31.5mm. 12th-13th century.

Incomplete Medieval white-metal coated strap-end consisting of socket, waist and "lyre-shaped" openwork main part. On the front of the socket a black-letter a is picked out by engraved lines on a transversely engraved ground, to be viewed with the main part pointing downwards. There are two copper alloy rivets at the top of the inscription. In the centre of the "lyre" element the figure of St Christopher holding the Boy Jesus on his shoulders stands between two apertures. Fragment of an unusual form of Late Saxon strap-end, probably a variation of Thomas' Class G (2004) FRG Datasheet 33, fig. 5 nos. 36-7. The upper part of the splayed split attachment-end is missing, with only a groove representing the base of the split surviving. Below the split, the plate is flat-sectioned with engraved bordering lines and a stylised animal head in high relief at the mid-point. The lower part begins to splay gently before the break, lower end missing. Extant length 27.5mm. Extant width 10.5mm. Thickness, at upper end 3mm, at head 5mm. 11th century.

Post-medieval copper alloy harness mount, flat with two broken integral attachment spikes bent inward on the reverse. In the centre of the front in counter relief the bust of a putto is depicted, 'with a notched projection above and a large half flower below. Loops, emanating from the chin and the top of the head join at the side of the head as swags, forming four apertures.' Medieval copper alloy buckle: oval frame with outside edge and deep rectangular-sectioned sides and a separate bar set in holes in the ends; broken flat-sectioned pin; rectangular sheet plate with pin slot, frame recesses and breaks across twin rivet-holes at attachment-end. Frame 23 x 27.5mm. Plate, extant length 29mm, width 20.5mm. Overall length 47mm. Post-Roman buckle frames with separate bars are uncommon. Cf. a large flimsy example from a mid 14th-century context in York (Ottaway and Rogers 2002, 2893-4, fig. 1469 no. 14099). Probably 14th or 15th century.

Incomplete Late Saxon copper-alloy tongue-shaped openwork strap-end with rebate at the attachment edge on one face for the missing separate sheet bar, originally secured by two rivets, surviving rivet-holes broken, rivets missing.
