A worn and base silver denarius, a plated contemporary copy of a coin of Clodius Albinus as Caesar (AD 193-195), dating to the period AD 194-195 (Reece Period 10). Reverse type: [MINER PACIF COS II], depicting Minerva standing left holding branch, resting left hand on shield on ground, spear leaning on left arm. RIC IV, pt 1, p. 45, cf no. 7. The coin does appear base with only part of the silver-plating / wash surviving.

A Roman cast copper alloy head dating 43 to 410AD that would probably have been originally attached to a figurine. The head is solid and complete representing Vulcan with his hair and beard worn short and a conical cap to his head. Vulcan is the god of fire including the fire of volcanoes, metalworking, and the forge in ancient Roman religion and myth and is often depicted with a blacksmith's hammer. A Roman headstud brooch missing part of the catch plate, pin and a missing section of the head with the ferrous axis pin showing. The foot has a double lipped decoration protruding at 90 degrees to the pin line. There is an overall green patination to the body and loop. The loop is 9.76mm in diameter.

A trapezoidal Medieval copper alloy buckle frame with a chamfered and decorated plate (outside edge) where the tongue would have sat when fastened. The side elevation is slightly tapered from a thickness of 3.76mm at the decorated plate end to 3.19mm at the tongue axis bar. There are three crudely cut notches across the end plate paralell to the buckle top and bottom edges. The pin is missing. The reverse side of the outside edge is chamfered inwards towards the tongue axis bar.

A copper alloy Medieval buckle complete with tongue and roller cast in an ornate oval shape narrowing in side section towards the pin axis. The roller is a sheet of copper alloy loosely curved around a second axis bar between two smooth large lobed knops. The tongue is fastened to an offset axis bar and is 18.64mm in length. The dimensions are 20.23mm from the outer edge of the roller to the outside edge of the tongue and 17.9mm across the width of the oval frame at its widest point and 6.07mm at its thickest point where the roller and knops meet.

A copper-alloy strap-end, dating from the Early-Medieval to Medieval periods. At the top of the strap-end is the strap-slot, which comprises two parallel, downward-tapering plates and a central gap. The strap would have been held in place by a rivet which survives in situ, located centrally, a short distance down from the horizontal upper sides of the plates, which it links. A moulded, forward-facing, stylised zoomorphic mask marks the transition between the strap-slot and the sub-oval 'tongue' below.
