An incomplete mesolithic to early neolithic flint blade dating c. 8000-3300BC. The blade is made from pale grey flint, with milky white areas. This distal end is broken off and there is uneven short, scaled, semi-abrupt retouch in small areas on both edges. The blade measures 40.2mm ong, 21.9mm wide, 6.4mm thick and weighs 31.5 grams.

A complete flint scraper tool dating from the Neolithic to the Early Bronze Age 4000-1000 BC. The scraper is rounded in shape and formed of a secondary flake with a large bulb of percussion on the ventral face suggesting hard hammer working. There is a short section of short, stepped, semi-abrupt retouch on the straight edge. 50% of the dorsal face is covered with cortex and the remainder is covered with four flake removal scars. An incomplete flint Neolithic leaf shaped arrow head dating c. 4,000- 2200 BC. The arrowhead is incomplete with a transverse break at the base. It is ogival with gently convex sides and lenticular in cross section. It is bifacially worked from a tertiary flake with covering, scaled and sub-parallel, low angled retouch. The flint is light grey with dark grey and white inclusions. The flint measures 42.8mm long, 19.5mm wide, 2.42 thick and weighs 11.8 grams.

A Medieval cast copper alloy stud. AD.1050 -1400. The stud is circular and convex with a rectangular blunt shank which has been bent to one side.The top has been gilded but is now corroded The stud measures 9.6mm diameter, 1mm thick and weighs 0.6 grams. A similar type stud can be seen in Read(2001) page 31.

An incomplete Medieval cast copper alloy double loop trapezoidal buckle. AD.1350-1450. The buckle has bevelled edges with separate strap and notched pin bar. There are traces of rust around the notch and on the front bar which might indicate an iron pin, which is missing. There is traces off a white metal on the buckle frame. The buckle measures 17.7mm long, 15.8mm wide, 2.5mm thick and weighs 1.7 grams. Similar type examples can be found in Read (2003) page 88.

A complete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy furniture fitting in the form of a drop handle from a drawer pull (c.AD1660-1710). The object is sub-trapezoidal in shape, with a constriction below a sub-square suspension loop. The loop is recessed with a rectangular perforation. At the opposite end, the handle curls rearwards and projects outwards to each side. The central field below the constriction has a raised triangular moulding. The fitting has a greyish green patina. An incomplete copper alloy Medieval buckle. (c.AD 1300-1500). The buckle is a single looped rectangle with bevelled edges with flat back. It has an incised line on front edge for pin rest. The pin is missing. The buckle is slightly is slightly bent. The metal has a dark-greyish-green patina and is worn. The buckle measures 15.6mm long, 21.4mm wide, 2.3mm wide and weighs 2.4 grams. A similar example is illustrated in Whitehead (2005) p.26, no.126 and is dated to circa AD 1300 - 1500.

A complete Post Medieval cast one-piece copper alloy button with integral drilled shank. AD1600-1700.The button is discoidal and solid with a convex front and flat back.The top has radiating lines from a central point within an incised circular border. Around the side there is an incised line with vertical lines running between the top and side borders.The shank is sub-rectangular with a rounded piercing and rounded end. Similar type buttons can be seen in Read(2005) page 31. The button measures 13.5mm diameter, 15.8mm long, 9.5 thick and weighs 8.4 grams.

A complete Medieval copper alloy, annular buckle. AD.1200-1450. Buckle comprises an annular frame with a copper alloy pin looped around it. The frame is circular in cross section. There is no pin bar recess or pin rest and the frame is free moving. The pin is oval in cross section with a small sub-rectangular knop just before the attachment loop. The loop is formed by being loosly rolled round the frame. The buckle measures 47.6mm diameter, 5.4mm thick and weighs 36 grams.

A incomplete Post Medieval (AD.1500-1800) cast lead cloth or bag seal. The seal consists of two discs,one disc is stamped with a crown above a shield decorated with five stars . The other disc has a further central disc stamped 92 or 9z. with a half ring of pellets running across both discs.. The coin measures 27.9mm diameter, 3.9mm thick and weighs 12.1 grams.

An incomplete Post Medieval cast lead alloy circular unifaced token. Powell Type 2. On one side are possibly the raised intials IP or HP. The other side is blank. The token measures 17.8mm in diameter, 1.8mm thick and weighs 3.3grams. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally; they are therefore hard to date precisely. Those with intials are thought to be Post Medieval in date, c. 1550-1800 AD. The coin measures 22.1mm diameter, 1.6mm thick and weighs 5.7 grams.

A complete Medieval to post-Medieval copper-alloy mount (c. 1400-c. 1600). This mount is convex at the front and at the rear it is hollow. At the centre it is lozenge-shaped and concentrically stepped with a pointed apex. It has an arm at each of the four corners that terminates with a fleur-de-lis. On the rear face each arm appears to have had an integral stud or spike. The front has traces of gilding. The object has a mid green patina. The pin bar is rectangular in section. The pin is missing. The overall condition is poor with a brownish green patina. The buckle measures 15.9mm diameter, 1.7mm thick and weighs 0.7 grams. An incomplete Post Medieval cast copper alloy strap fitting or belt mount. (AD1500-1700). The mount is symmetrical and is sub-rectangular in cross-section. The mount has a slightly wider centre. It then tapper towards each end before flaring outwards into the oval terminals. The outer face of the object is rounded it is very corroded but was possibly decorated. On the reverse of the object are two broken integral spiked lugs for attachment. The buckle measures 19.8mm long, 8.9mm wide, 2.9mm thick and weighs 2.3 grams.
