Copper-alloy seal matrix with socket, for producing cloth seals (alnage seals). The die itself is circular and 29mm in diameter. In side view, the matrix rises vertically from the die for about 3mm then begins to taper with a slightly concave curve to an open end 19-20mm in external diameter. The matrix is overall 14mm thick and weighs 39.0g. There are two small bumps on the outside, very close to the socket's edge, which are surrounded by iron staining and which may be the remains of iron nails fastening a wooden handle. Polyhedral pinhead in the shape of a cube with the corners cut off to produce a faceted shape. The single visible face is one of the lozengiform sides, and this has engraved decoration around a central reserved lozenge. The shaft appears to be entirely missing. 8th or, more probably, 9th century.

Head and socket from a composite pin of middle to late Anglo-Saxon date, probably 9th century. The head is in the shape of a cube with the corners cut off to produce a faceted shape; all of the faces visible in the photograph (two lozengiform side faces, two upper triangular faces, and the just-visible lower triangular and upper lozengiform faces) appear to have engraved decoration. Around the edge is a wide border, probably with stamped ornament, and a lower beaded rim. The reverse has no obvious means of attachment. Early Anglo-Saxon circular mount, probably from horse-harness. The mount is decorated with a single band of triple-strand interlace with no heads or other zoomorphic elements. There is an outer ridged border, probably consisting of three ridges, and an inner single ridge dividing the interlace from a domed boss in the centre. The reverse appears corroded (perhaps with iron adhering) and there is no visible means of attachment. The interlace suggests a very late 6th- or early 7th-century date; compare an example from Sutton Hoo Mound 17 (Carver 2005, fig. 112, no. 25ci).

Early Anglo-Saxon rectangular mount with terminals, probably from horse-harness. The mount is decorated with Style I relief animal ornament in a central rectangular panel and on pairs of semi-circular panels on the terminals, and these areas appear to be gilded. In side view the mount is curved or bent, perhaps for attachment to a noseband. There are no obvious rivets or other means of fixing. Compare SOMDOR-305381.

Early Anglo-Saxon button brooch of Avent and Evison's Class I, probably Class Ii. Only the centre of the brooch survives, with much of the rim missing. There is hair rather than a helmet, a continuously vertically ribbed crescent around the top of the face. Below the hair are two round pellet eyes, with a groove separating these from the hair; there are no brow ridges. A ridge runs down between the eyes to for the nose. Complete toy gridiron with fish, made from a lead/tin alloy (pewter) with a patina which is shiny in patches. The gridiron is basically rectangular but slightly trapezoidal, flaring from the handle end; it has six bars of equal thickness and triangular cross-section parallel to the handle, and a similar transverse bar to either end.
