Globular copper-alloy steelyard weight with lead core. It is 39 mm in diameter and 32 mm tall up to a flattened top. In the centre of the top is an integrally cast triangular suspension lug with a circular perforation, which brings the height up to 42 mm. There is no evidence for any iron pins attaching the lead to the copper-alloy sheath; off-centre on the base is the hole through which the lead was poured, with a slightly too small copper-alloy cap covering it. Unusual gilded copper-alloy buckle frame. Internally the frame is oval with an offset narrowed bar, on which the loop of a copper-alloy pin survives. The outer edge is greatly extended into an 11 mm wide crescent-shaped plate, which although thin (less than a millimetre) is angled to give a downward slope. The crescent is outlined with a groove made by rocking a tool back and forth. It is also pierced with three holes; in the central one, a separate copper-alloy knob survives. Hinged plate, perhaps cut down from a buckle plate. The plate is rectangular, measuring 30 x 15 mm. It thickens towards one end, where a wide slot is cut between two narrow drilled hinge loops. The hinge cannot be a complete buckle plate, as there are no frame recesses; and in fact its function is very uncertain, because there is no surviving means of attachment. Chape, probably from a sword-scabbard, made from copper-alloy sheet. At the apex is a globular knob, and from this the sheet-metal sides rise to form a flat triangle. It is not clear what the original cross-section may have been (probably oval) and the flattening has caused a split up one side. 16 mm from the top is a decorative groove. There is just one possible rivet hole, 4 mm in diameter, just below the groove. Strap fitting made from a piece of copper-alloy strip folded in half and secured at the attachment end with two copper-alloy rivets, both of which survive only as corrosion. The rivet holes on the reverse are broken. It measures 40 mm long by a maximum of 13.5 mm wide at the attachment edge on the upper plate, and tapers to 11 mm wide at the attachment edge on the under plate. Many of the edges are fragmentary, including the attachment edge and the folded edge, but there are some details of the broken edges which may give clues to the original shape. Unidentified object made from lead. It is lozenge-shaped, 24 x 20 mm, and 14 mm thick. There seem to be slight ribs running down the thickness of each corner. One of the lozenge-shaped faces is flat, but the other is sunken with a pyramid-shaped depression. A 4 mm square perforation runs between the two. Date and function unknown.

Almost-complete lead cloth seal, 22 mm in diameter. Disc 2 is fragmentary, but a well-made stamp can be seen with a merchant's mark flanked with a possible T to the left and an A to the right. The mark consists of a figure 4 with long stem that runs between the T and the A to end in a lozenge. The lines of the 4 may be continued beyond the left-hand angle to form an oval above the T, and the horizontal line to the right may be extended to form a cross above the A.
