Cast copper alloy dirk dating from the Middle Bronze Age, that is c. 1500-1300BC. The dirk is broken into five fragments and two rivets, but it is incomplete: the very tip fragment is missing and could not be recovered after intensive search. It may have never been deposited in the first place or else, possibly disintegrated in the ground. The remaining five blade fragments and two rivets survive in good condition. NOTE: This find is of importance because these coins are not normally found in English contexts. At that time the groat was worth 1s 6d Scots and had a silver content of 0.833g compared to the English groat which was 0.925g (Carl Savage, PhD student University of York/National Museum Scotland).

Copper alloy sword belt hanger dating from the post medieval period, that is c. AD1500-1700. The hanger is complete and in good condition. It is a moulded strip terminating in a hook. The main body is roughly figure-of-eight-shaped with a rivet hole in the centre of each roundel. Each roudel is decorated around the rivet hole with a moulded square and basic interlace mouldings, wound around the straight sides of the two squares. Reference: Read 2008, 224, no. 804.

Fragment of a copper alloy terret ring dating from the early Roman period, probably 1st-2nd century AD. Only the bottom quarter of the terret survives. The upper part of the loop is broken off and it is uncertain whether this may have been a plain or possibly a lipped or knobbed terret. The two mouldings at the base of the arms survive with some damage and the central bottom section does, too. Whilst the surviving arms of the loop have a circular cross section, the bottom section is flat and has a rectangular cross section. It is tapers to a flat point at the bottom.

Complete copper alloy terret ring dating from the early Roman period, probably 1st-2nd century AD. The terret is formed of a large oval loop with an oval section and a much smaller integral semi-circular loop below through which the strap would have run. There is a moulded collar around the bottom of the larger loop, separating it from the smaller loop. The larger loop is oval with a circular cross-section all around but the top is much thinner than the bottom of the ring.
