A small, thin, once gilded copper alloy plate with two small holes along a straight edge. The opposite edge is scalloped forming three lobes - the middle one being the largest. It is reminiscent of Roman scale armour but with too few holes.

A well turned copper alloy vessel rim. It is quite broad and is similar to rims of ink wells and candle stick drip trays. The upper surface has two concentric incised rings and the underside shows turning marks.

A slender copper alloy rod with fragment of a vessel body at one end and a rounded (but broken) terminal at the othe end on the side. This would suggest part of a 'chevron' shaped handle from a cauldron or pipkin.

Medieval copper alloy , shield -shaped mount with a single integral circular cross sectioned rivet, offset on the reverse.The rivet shank is 6mm wide and 5mm long, suggesting it was fitted to something substantial such as a wooden box. The only visible heraldic device is a three point label across the top which shows that the owner was the heir to a title.

One corner of square or rectangular mount, with one empty rivet hole in the corner. There is only one original egde surviving and that has a 1mm lip on the reverse - this may have been deeper to eclose a strap. It could be a fragment of a late medieval socketed strap end or buckle.

Part of a medieval buckle with integral plate. There are two rivets in place on the belt plate and a horizontal scored line which flanks the long edges of the plate. Most of the buckle bow is missing and only a fragment of the pin survives.

A buckle plate of folded thin copper alloy with tiny traces of gilding.The prongs that held the pin bar appear to have been bent upwards onto the upper surface. There is a hint of decoration on this surface but this may be corrosion.
