A worn Post-Medieval (15th-17th century) copper-alloy floral mount. Description: The mount is formed of two sets of opposed trefoil lobes, one set vertically opposed the other horizontally opposed, in the form of petals or leaves. Flora detail, usually picked out on such much with a border in relief as well as floral and vegetative motifs also in relief within each of the lobes is not visible due to wear and corrosion. An incomplete Post-Medieval (c.AD 1550 - 1650.copper-alloy double-looped buckle Description: The frame is convex at the front and flat at the rear and will have had two identical loops, although one is now mostly missing. The strap bar is slightly narrowed, triangular in cross-section and flat at the rear. The bar extends beyond the frame at each side to form small knops. A struck Medieval silver penny of Alexander III of Scotland (AD 1249-1286). second coinage, Class E1/D mule (Spink S5056) dating to AD 1280-1292. A star of seven points in first and third quarters and a mullet of six points in the second and fourth quarters, giving a total of 26 points. Ref: Spink 2015, pg 19. A complete post Medieval (16th century) cast one-piece lead alloy button. The head is discoidal, with aconvex front and flat back. The decoration consists of a central pellet with three arm radiating out; one arm lies from a pellet at twelve o'clock to the pellet at six o'clock, the third shorter arm is from the central pellet to between nine and ten o'clock. An incomplete post-medieval (c.AD 1500 - 1700) copper alloy saddle pommel. Description: This remaining half of the pommel is convex and semi-circular in cross-section, any attachments are missing from the historic break. The surface design is linear with four doubled lines travelling from the centre of the dome to the rim. There is another doubled line across the break edge on the longer side and another across the perimeter. There is no decoration on the inner side of the object.
