An incomplete post-medieval (c.AD 1500 - 1700) copper alloy saddle pommel. Description: This remaining half of the pommel is convex and semi-circular in cross-section, any attachments are missing from the historic break. The surface design is linear with four doubled lines travelling from the centre of the dome to the rim. There is another doubled line across the break edge on the longer side and another across the perimeter. There is no decoration on the inner side of the object.
