A Post Medeival copper alloy button of 1500-1660 date. The button is a composite made of two peices. The buttone is a convex discoidal shape with an undecorated surface. There is a separate drawn copper alloy wire shank embaded in the center of the reverse. The button is 13.3mm in diamterer, 5.7mm high and weighs 2.68g. Silar examples can be seen in Read, 2005, page 75 ref 300.

A Post-medieval ceramic gaming piece of AD 1600-1800 date. The object is sub-cuboid with two crudely groves on 4 surfaces creating the impression of a scalloped edge. the top and bottom surface are flat. The fabric of the object is a sandy buff stone ware with an even light brown glaze coating the majority of the surface of the object. It is 17.5mm high, 17.6mm wide and weighs 8.02 grams. A gaming piece of a similar shape and material can be seen on the datebase: YORYM-0497E2.

A medieval to post medieval leather strap with eight copper alloy round mounts with integral rivets and separate roves. The strap is made from thick leather with a row of copper alloy mounts (c.12.0mm dia. ). Each mount has an integral rivet, which can be seen on the other outer face of the strap, projecting through a corresponding rove (c. 14.61mm dia). The mounts have some green patina with patches of a red corrosion deposit. The leather is dark brown. A fragment of a Medieval cast copper alloy vessel, Length:64.9mm, Width:36.61, Thickness:4.73mm, Weight:41.1g.. It is a flat almost triangular section with the longer edge bending away at approx. 45 degrees. This edge is 14.26mm wide and 7.23mm thick, with a 8.45mm thick raised edge as in a rim. A hammered silver Charles I (1625-1649) shilling. The obverse has a crowned bust left with XII behind, within an apparently solid circle. The legend is badly damaged, probably clipped. The reverse has a shield with the four nations represented, there are plumes at the ends of the arms of the cross lines, this is within an apparently solid circle. The legend is badly damaged.

An incomplete post-Medieval copper-alloy Jew's harp (1500-1800). The iron prong is missing. The lyre-shaped instrument has a sub-circular head which is about 32.36mm in diameter. The tapering arms together with the head are characteristically lozenge-shaped in cross-section. At the apex of the head, on the front face, there is a rabbet that accommodated the prong or tongue. This was probably made of iron. The instrument is matt brown with traces of a light green patina. Length: 64.12mm; width: 32.36; thickness at head: 8.84mm. Weight: 24.79g.

A post medieval sub-round (horse-shoe) 36.65mm at it's widest and 3.5mm thick, cast copper alloy buckle, weighing 17.73g. . Both of the faces are bevelled and appear to be undecorated. The V-shaped pin notch partialy transects the arc, the pin is missing. The rounded bar is offset between the narrower end of the buckle.

Cast copper alloy links (dia. 23.67mm x 1.92mm thick). There is a section of three interlocked links and one loose link. All of the links are identical. The upper surface has a moulded foliate design, the surface is plain where the rings interlink. The lower surface is plain. No parallels have been found for these links. The foliate decoration suggests a probable post 1700 date. Possible harness fitting.

A cast copper ally probably Medieval dagger quillon (17.75mm long and weighing 41.06g). The central oval (16.78mm x 11.17mm) has flattened sides which are decorated with incised lines crossing to create a star. On the underside are four leaf shapes surrounding the hole, the hole would be appear to be filled possibly with iron. There is a groove around the neck. Both arms are laying beside the body, with the right one bent at the elbow behind the back. The lower left arm is laying across the chest with the hand holding an object (indistinct). The figure is wearing knee length drapes/skirt. The legs are together and the feet are missing.
