A copper-alloy composite strap end, mount or plate, of uncertain dating but possibly post medieval period, probably 16th or 17th century AD. The strap end has a floriate openwork trefoil terminal with two rivet holes; one rivet remains. The rectangular plate below has scrolled decoration and punched dots. The reverse of the strap end is a hollowed sheet and it appears to be missing the back plate through which a strap would have ben secured.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy white-metal coated spoon, dating to the Roman period. The bowl is damaged but much survives. Although incomplete, the bowl would have been piriform or pear-shaped, and is offset, with an elaborated junction which is C-shaped when viewed in profile. Similar to database records WMID-F70F42, BH-F10251, and NARC-9B1532 and to silver examples in the Hoxne Hoard of coins and metalwork buried in the 5th century, however pear-shaped bowls had appeared by the first half of the second century (Crummy 1983, p.69). Suggested date: AD 150-409.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman Hod Hill style brooch, without side lugs, dating to the period c. AD 43-65. The brooch is missing one complete wing and the pin. The top of the bow is parallel sides and decorated with moulded ribbing. The lower half of the brooch is triangular in plan - inverted, with punched decoration consisting of a trilobed linear floral spray. This section of the brooch retains a white metal coating. On the reverse of this section the catch plate is retained complete. Similar to Hattatt (2007:320) no. 855.

An incomplete copper alloy Roman Hod Hill variant brooch, parallel strip bow style (similar to Langton Down types) classed as the Durotriges type and dating to the early first century AD (c. AD 1-60). The parallel sided bow is decorated with vertical ribbing or reeds with interval rocker-arm decoration from the head down the length of the bow towards the (missing) foot. An incomplete copper alloy and enamel Roman zoomorphic plate brooch in the form of a horse. The horse is well rendered with facial features and mane clear. The body of the horse has three recessed cells which have traces of blue and red enamel (red in the centre cell). There is some damage to the horse's feet and to the catch-plate and sprung pin, but otherwise the brooch is in very good condition. As Hattatt 1182. c. AD 100-200.

A complete cast copper-alloy Roman trumpet style brooch, dating from the mid-2nd century AD. The brooch has the characteristic trumpet style head with intact head-loop. There are two small circular mouldings (rivets?) on either side of teh head. The bow of the brooch displays a large circular boss with central projection, that protrudes from the edges of the bow. The boss has radial knops. The bevelled lower bow terminates in a peltate foot. The pin is incomplete and of a different alloy and may be a replacement. As Hattatt nos 970 and 87. See also Mackreth (2010:125) type 3.1b.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman T-shaped brooch, dating to c. AD 75-200. The brooch is missing the foot but is otherwise complete, retaining the tubular arms for the hinged pin, which is intact. A raised ovoid moulding on the head of the bow may depict a face-mask. Below this the remainder of the bow is decorated with a row of lozenge shaped cells running the full length, with triangular cells at each side and a plain grooved border - no enamel survives. Part of the catch plate survives but the lower section of it, and the foot of the brooch, is broken and missing.

An incomplete cast copper alloy penannular brooch of late Roman or early Anglo-Saxon date (AD 400-600) of Fowler's Type D and Booth's type D2. The brooch is formed from a circular-sectioned rod which has been flattened at the terminals, which have then been bent back over themselves. The terminals have moulded decoration consisting of ribbing either side of an indent or recess in the bar. The appearance is vaguely zoomorphic. No pin survives; the pin may have been very long in comparison to the size of the brooch.

A worn, incomplete copper-alloy early-medieval (mid-late Anglo-Saxon) ansate brooch of Weech type XI dating to the 9th-10th centuries. It is missing its pin but is otherwise complete.

The brooch has a central vertical rib down the bow flanked by two lower ribs. A transverse moulding divides the bow in half, the lower section of which is plain and undecorated. A rounded foot knop forms the terminal. On the reverse is the catch-plate. At the head of the bow the rolled arms are incomplete and the pin and bar machinism is missing.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman disc brooch dating to the second century AD (c. AD 100-200). The brooch is flat and plain edged, and circular in shape. The front flat surface of the brooch is decorated with a central triskele pattern with solid pellet terminals in high relief. There is a central pellet also in high relief. The cells of the triskele and the outer fields would have been inlaid with enamel but this has now degraded. On the reverse the brooch is missing its pin. Similar brooches can be seen in Hattatt 2012, page 344, figure 203: nos 120, 524, 121 and1036.

A complete cast copper-alloy and white-metal coated Roman umbonate brooch dating to the period AD 100-250. The brooch has a wheel boss of five-spokes, each cell containing degraded enamel some of which appears red in colour (umbonate brooches often have alternating colours). Around the edges of the brooch are four knops set equidistantly - two larger knops with recesses for enamel above the catch and pin and two others in between. The catchplate is retained and the pin appears contemporary.
