A complete cast copper-alloy possible gaming piece of Roman date. The piece is in the form of a thick oval 'cube' with ring and dot decoration arranged 5-4-6-3 on its sides. There are no motifs on the top or base of the piece. In terms of date, both Roman and Saxon gaming pieces and weights commonly use the ring-and-dot motif as a decoration feature however of the few other examples recorded a Roman date seems more appropriate.
