An incomplete copper-alloy object, probably a bracelet fragment and of Roman date. The fragment is D-shaped in section and tapers towards one end, probably the terminal end. The is no decoration. This object could be part of a bracelet, and if so would date to the late Roman period, c. AD 350-409. Alternatively it could be part of a handle, of a similar date.

A fragment of a copper alloy triple-stranded bracelet dating to the mid Roman period (c. AD 200-410). The bracelet is cable-twisted terminating in worn breaks at either end and is bent round, possibly to form a finger ring. The strands of the bracelet are flat and sub-rectangular in cross-section, with the bracelet having a D-shaped cross section. The patina is mid to light green. Similar examples recorded on the PAS database include: SF-4434C7; BERK-1D0373; and YORYM-7115F3.
