An extremely corroded possible copper-alloy coin: possibly a Spanish re-validated maravedis coin. These are often called 'cob' coins: they were crudely made in Spain initially and later in the Americas for use in the Spanish colonies. The coinage was re-valued and consequently these are often countermarked. The flan is an irregular shape, slightly squared off in places, and the designs and stamps indiscernible. Cf. DOR-324563 of similar mass.
