A medieval copper-alloy Nuremberg jetton of anonymous issuer dating to the period c. 1480-1500.Dauphinétype with fictitious legend, Minted at Nuremberg. See Mitchiner (1988, 347) nos. 1041-1042. This jetton is extremely corroded and has been slightly bent. It has been pierced towards the circumference on the obverse face at 3 o'clock on the obverse, around 10 o'clock on the reverse. presumably for conversion into an item of jewellery. The hole has broken through as a result of old damage.
