A copper-alloy apothecaries' weight of post-medieval/early modern date (c. 1600-1900). It is square in form and rectangular in cross-section. A faceted Late Roman copper-alloy octagonal bead. The bead is octagonal in cross-section, expanding toward the centre and narrowing toward the ends. It has a fairly even grey-green patina. It measures 25.9mm long and up to 8.8mm wide. It is 1.2mm thick and weighs 4.52g. The object is similar in form to the object recorded as NCL-DF1D13 on this database. A probable Middle Bronze Age (c.1500-1100 BC) solid gold bead of annular form and biconical profile with a central perforation measuring 2.9mm in diameter. It is max.7.6mm in diameter at the centre, narrowing to c.5mm diameter at either end, both of which show areas of damage. The bead stands 5.3mm in height and weighs 1.91g. A fragment from the top of a bell of unknown date. The suspension loop is rounded a perforated. It is recessed on both sides compared to the top of the bell. From the few vestiges that survive the bell appears circular rather than faceted, and is fairly solidly cast. The breaks are ragged and old. There is a possible trace of iron corrosion product internally below the loop. The fragment is 20.5mm long, up to 15.9mm wide and up to 12.3mm thick; it weigh 6.99 grams.

The fragment consists of part of the lower half, part of the median rib, and a smaller part of the upper hemisphere, with ragged breaks and one broadly straight edge - the sound slot. One of the upper hemisphere's sound holes has been broken through; this and a counterpart would have been set at right angles to the sound slot. A fragment of a copper-alloy blade probably from a sword of Late Bronze Age date. The fragment is pointed oval in cross-section with smooth curve on both surfaces and no discernible mid rib. There are old patinated breaks at each end and down each side, obscuring the original shape. However, in one corner the fragment does appear to flare out slightly, though this may be illusory; the width is generally consistent. It is 28.05mm long, 20.7mm wide,3.7mm thick. It weighs 10.37grams. The surfaces are slightly corroded.

A rectangular pierced copper-alloy plate, probably a medieval book clasp of Howsam type A.7. It would have been riveted to an equivalent plate by four rivets, located one towards each corner. The rivets have a circular cross-section, and all four survive in situ, their head flush to the surface of the plate. An incomplete copper-alloy plate almost certainly from a medieval clasp. Half of the plate survives here, following a transverse break at the fold. The plate is sub-rectangular, with no frame recesses at the fold. Only vestiges of the loop survive in situ around the copper-alloy axis bar at the narrow end of the plate (width 6.9mm).
