A corroded post-medieval Nuremberg copper-alloy jetton of the 'Rose / orb' type struck by Hans Schultes I (AD 1553-1584); cf. Mitchiner 1344ff. The flan has received considerable abrasion at its circumference. It has been punctured through the reverse on and within the inner circle line towards 9 o'clock on the obverse, corresponding to about 4 o'clock on the reverse.

A corroded 16th-century copper-alloy post-medieval jetton, anonymous issue, 'ship-penny' type, struck at Nuremberg, c. AD 1553-1559 (cf. Mitchiner 1180/1181). Mitchiner (1988, 374-375) describes these jettons as being of the 'degenerate cross in arcuate yard arm group'. He therefore dates them to the 1550s as they appear closely related to the ship-penny jettons of Jorg Schultes and Hans Schultes I.

A post-medieval Nuremberg copper-alloy jetton of Wolf Lauffer I (fl. c. 1583-1601), rose/orb type, ALVNSER HAB IST GOTES GA legend (All we have is a gift of God), c. AD 1583-1601. This jetton has been slightly bent. It has a shallow curved removal at one point of the circumference from the process of cutting the flan. The reverse legend is not published in the main reference work, but is evidenced on this database, refs. SF10957, NMS-EFE6. A medieval copper-alloy Nuremberg jetton of anonymous issuer dating to the period c. 1480-1500.Dauphinétype with fictitious legend, Minted at Nuremberg. See Mitchiner (1988, 347) nos. 1041-1042. This jetton is extremely corroded and has been slightly bent. It has been pierced towards the circumference on the obverse face at 3 o'clock on the obverse, around 10 o'clock on the reverse. presumably for conversion into an item of jewellery. The hole has broken through as a result of old damage.
