A cast copper-alloy fragment: possibly a dish support from a late medieval/early post-medieval chafing dish. The object tapers to a point at one end. It has a trapezoidal cross-section and appears to have been broken away from another element at the shorter of the long edges of the attachment end. The artefact has corroded to a red/brown colour with patches of light-green corrosion product. It appears to be plain.

A copper-alloy Roman probable initial T-shaped brooch, incomplete in so far as it is missing its pin (later 1st-century AD). The brooch survives well, only having suffered some post-depositional abrasions and slight pitting. The head has tubular wings, flattened slightly on their upper surface. They are apparently plain. The axis bar is largely obscured by the wings, but is can be said to have been made from iron judging by orange corrosion product both at the wing terminals and within the pin slot. A damaged and incomplete copper-alloy 2nd-century Roman disc brooch of the tutulus type. The circular brooch would have originally had eight plain, squared off peripheral lugs; three are now missing. The lugs are external on a rim. The rim is echoed by a ridge within; the groove within may have held enamel. This border has received considerable old damage leading to fractures and losses at the circumference and the grooved zone within. A retouched tertiary flake probably Neolithic in date. It is broadly of elongated trapezoidal form with a 'butt' of straight sides, the side having tapered gradually from the wide end. The retouch varies on the dorsal face and is abrupt to one side, and more gradual at the other and the wide end. The shape of the flake is reminiscent of transverse arrowheads of the tranchet type but the cutting edge seems too thick for this purpose, though it may have been truncated. The function of this flake therefore cannot be given with precision.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy post-medieval double-looped buckle frame. The frame was formed of a pair of oval loops with moulded floral decoration on their edges; one of the loops has been lost beyond the mouldings at each end of the pin bar as a result of old damage. There is a trilobed moulding at each end of the pin bar. This latter is triangular in cross-section and has lost its pin. The surviving loop has a protruding trilobed moulding on its outer edge. A copper-alloy stud with a generally flat lozengiform head dating to the late medieval or early post-medieval periods. The head is decorated on the obverse with a saltire cross and a central pellet within a square of pellets. The square sits diagonally within a beaded border. On the reverse is a broken shaft of square cross-section only 3.8mm long, 3.5mm wide, also bent at an angle. A copper-alloy fragment: probably the terminal of a handle from a medieval cooking vessel, probably a posnet. The handle has a low D-shaped cross-section, being flat on its upper surface and shallowly convex below. It terminates in an angled projection at about 135 degrees to the handle's underside, a projection that seems to be characteristic of posnets. Before this projection is a cross patty recessed into the upper surface of the handle. The object now has a mid-green colour with some surface loss; the break is old and patinated.

A post-medieval cast copper-alloy vessel leg. The leg is triangular with rounded corners in cross-section with a flat back and convex front. It is decorated with a prominent central longitudinal rib, flanked by a single low rib to each side. The terminal is merely squared off rather than ending in a foot; this is somewhat rounded through wear. The attachment end bears the curved interior of the vessel with very little surviving beyond the cross-section of the leg. The leg stands at an angle of sixty or more degrees to a flat surface.

A small cast copper-alloy double-looped buckle frame of early post-medieval date, incomplete in so far as it is missing its pin. The frame is formed of two conjoined ovals such that the sides incurve. The frame is shallowly bevelled externally on the upper surface; the lower surface is bevelling internally accordingly. The pin bar has a trapezoidal cross-section. It is raised slightly at each end in a subtle knop. The buckle frame has corroded to a variable mid-green colour. In profile the buckle has been bent as a result of old damage.
