An incomplete, bent cast copper-alloy pen of uncertain date, probably early post-medieval (c. 16th century, or slightly earlier). Its truncated shaft is missing its terminal but retains part of a central panel decorated with four longitudinal rows of linked lozengiform facets, with hollows between. Below is a plain, narrow section, between the lozengiform decoration on the shaft and the lanceolate end. An incomplete copper-alloy lid from a set of nested cup weights. The lid is hinged and would originally have been attached to the outer case of the set, and it retains its hinge-lug, though this is now broken through. An incomplete early post-medieval lead-alloy spoon (c. 16th century, probably later 16th). The spoon has a pointed oval shaped bowl and a hexagonal stem; the stem terminates in a 'seal top' knop. It is now damaged, and bent, with repairs by the finder, including a sleeve that holds together the broken stem, and glue reattaching two parts of the bowl that had become separated. A silver Roman denarius of Carausius (AD 286-293), dating to the period AD 286-293 (Reece period 14). ADVENTVS AV(ICIII or IIIII) reverse type depicting Carausius, draped, cuirassed, riding left, raising right hand and holding  sceptre in left hand. Mint unclear. The exergue is almost entirely off the flan, so it is not possible to determine if the exergue is clear or marked with RSR.
