A copper-alloy dagger guard (quillon) of late medieval date (c. 15th century). It consists of a broadly lozengiform copper alloy bar which expands at either end and widens in the centre to accommodate a rectangular hole (now blocked) - this would have taken the tang of the dagger. Extending to one side and from either end of the main bar, are two joined arches (resembling an inverted number three). The object is plain but corroded. A large quatrefoil cruciform mount with central boss cast in copper alloy of medieval date. The base of the mount consists of four trefoil arms, each with a rivet hole in the centre; parts of three rivets survive in situ. The edge of the base is bevelled. The arms are arranged at the cardinal points around a circular domed central boss with a stepped base and small flattened top. A copper-alloy medieval single-looped buckle with trapezoidal frame and folded sheet plate. The frame has slightly convex sides and rounded corners. A copper-alloy spur rowel in the shape of a five-pointed star. The arms are flattened oval in cross-section. There is central circular perforation through the body of the rowel through which the rivet attaching it to the spur would have travelled (Dia.: 3.3mm). Small grooves between the points around the hole help delineate them. The artefact is of a red-brown metal small patches of dark-yellow corrosion product. Such rowels are undiagnostic and a wide medieval to post-medieval date is therefore offered; similar examples can be found illustrated in Read (2001, 66; refs. 505-507).

A medieval cast copper-alloy forked spacer which would have been part of a composite strap end, dating to the late 13th/early 14th to the early 15th centuries. The front and back plates are missing. A broken and incomplete medieval cast copper-alloy buckle frame missing its plate, pin and much of its frame. The frame was oval before old breaks halfway along one side and just before the outer edge respectively. The outer edge is offset and recessed in the centre to take a sheet roller with central low groove which survives in place. The outer edge has large rounded knops flanking the recessed centre. Egan (2007, 86) suggests that this type (Meols Type 11) dates to the medieval period (c. AD 1250-1400).

It has a trapezoidal cross-section and appears to have been broken away from another element at the shorter of the long edges of the attachment end. A copper-alloy stud with a generally flat lozengiform head dating to the late medieval or early post-medieval periods. The head is decorated on the obverse with a saltire cross and a central pellet within a square of pellets. The square sits diagonally within a beaded border. On the reverse is a broken shaft of square cross-section only 3.8mm long, 3.5mm wide, also bent at an angle. A copper-alloy fragment: probably the terminal of a handle from a medieval cooking vessel, probably a posnet. The handle has a low D-shaped cross-section, being flat on its upper surface and shallowly convex below. It terminates in an angled projection at about 135 degrees to the handle's underside, a projection that seems to be characteristic of posnets. Before this projection is a cross patty recessed into the upper surface of the handle. The object now has a mid-green colour with some surface loss; the break is old and patinated.

A small body sherd with sparse flat, angular pieces of stone (up to 5-6mm), and poorly sorted moderated quartz sand temper, with some finer material. The piece is broken on all sides. It is shallowly curved in profile. It appears to have a dark-grey slip over a light-grey core. The rough surface, especially internally, would suggest a medieval date, as would thin thin walls, although an earlier date cannot be ruled out entirely.

A corroded, but complete shield-shaped cast copper-alloy harness pendant bearing a zoomorphic device: a peacock in his pride. The object is of the 'heater' shield shape, that is, with a flat top, and sides which curve steeply to a point. A medieval lead shield-shaped weight, probably for two ounces. The weight is decorated with a lion rampant on a raised panel. The perimeter step is decorated with lines. The lower surface is flat and plain. There are suggestions of a perforation central at the top of the panel.
