A complete cast copper-alloy button of post-medieval (17th-century) date. The button is circular, of a convex domed form, with an integral loop emerging centrally on its lower surface. A corroded and abraded post-medieval cast copper-alloy vessel foot and part of the leg. The leg is D shaped in cross-section with a flat back and convex front; it has broken following an old break at a diagonal angle. It is decorated with five longitudinal ribs. There is a prominent transverse collar at the junction of leg and foot. The collar has moulded diagonal ribs giving a ropework/cable pattern. A corroded cast copper-alloy double-looped buckle of post-medieval date (c. 17th century), incomplete in so far as it is missing its pin. The frame is formed of a pair of sub-oval loops with a single triangular protrusion (moulded trefoils or lis) at the central outer edge, and with similar protrusions at each end of the bar set at the centre of trefoil sides. The side elements of the trefoils at the outer edges provide two of a total of six petals around a central pellet, giving a moulded flower at these points. An incomplete post-medieval cast copper-alloy seal matrix with multiple dies. The artefact is cross-shaped with a central perforated element from which four arms of circular cross-section extend; one is broken and the flared terminal with the die has been lost. The surviving dies are broadly circular in shape (c. 12mm in diameter) and each contain a shallowly engraved device within a border. A post-medieval copper-alloy (latten) spoon, incomplete having lost its knop to old damage. The bowl is oval, generally rounded, but slightly more steeply at the stem end. There is a maker's mark of a fleur-de-lis stamped on the front of the bowl near the stem. The stem is flat and connected straight to the edge of the bowl with no strengthening tail on the back. It is rectangular with rounded corners in cross-section. The bowl is 64.5mm long, 46.3mm wide and 13.4mm max. deep. The bowl shape is consistent with seal top spoons which have a long floruit from c. 1550 onwards. …

A post-medieval copper-alloy trade weight from the reign of George III or IV. The weight is circular with a wide raised rim on the top. It is 28.8mm in diameter by up to 5.8mm thick and weighs 19.55 grams, 0.687oz. It has probably lost weight through corrosion and damage and was originally a three-quarters of an ounce weight. The frame was formed of a pair of oval loops with moulded floral decoration on their edges; one of the loops has been lost beyond the mouldings at each end of the pin bar as a result of old damage. A post-medieval cast copper-alloy vessel leg. The leg is triangular with rounded corners in cross-section with a flat back and convex front. It is decorated with a prominent central longitudinal rib, flanked by a single low rib to each side. The terminal is merely squared off rather than ending in a foot; this is somewhat rounded through wear. The attachment end bears the curved interior of the vessel with very little surviving beyond the cross-section of the leg. The leg stands at an angle of sixty or more degrees to a flat surface.

A small cast copper-alloy double-looped buckle frame of early post-medieval date, incomplete in so far as it is missing its pin. The frame is formed of two conjoined ovals such that the sides incurve. The frame is shallowly bevelled externally on the upper surface; the lower surface is bevelling internally accordingly. The pin bar has a trapezoidal cross-section. It is raised slightly at each end in a subtle knop. The buckle frame has corroded to a variable mid-green colour. In profile the buckle has been bent as a result of old damage.
