A post-medieval cast copper-alloy (latten) spoon bowl, detached from the stem following old damage. The bowl is sub-oval with a wider, more squared off end near the stem (the shoulders) and fairly straight sides. There is a maker's mark of I spoon R?, punched on the front of the bowl near the stem. This latter has been broken at its junction with the bowl. There are extensive traces of a white metal coating on the bowl's interior. A small circular cast lead-alloy button of post-medieval date. The concave back has an integral shank (broken before the loop) and a line from the mould. The convex upper surface has raised decoration with a pattern of small pellets depicting a double six-petalled flower with a raised dot in each petal and a central dot. A similar button has been recorded on this database, ref. LON-F18AB7, with another example published in Hume (1969, 89; Fig. 22), described as late 17th century.

A clipped post-medieval silver Irish sixpence of James I (AD 1603-1625), First coinage, initial mark bell, minted at Dublin, AD 1603-1604, Spink 6514. One edge of the coin has been bent up and the other down to create an S-shaped profile. Coins modified in this way are often referred to as 'love tokens'. The coin is very worn and may have been deliberately smoothed.

It has slightly flaring sides from top to bottom, at one point now squashed inwards, giving a sub-circular base which is open. Where the sides meet the top there are two attachment loops, one on each side, both squashed down against the sides. The handle is formed from a hexagonal cross-sectioned stem that terminates in a faceted cone at one end and is broken at the point it begins to flare into the spoon bowl at the other. A flint end scraper of dark-grey flint of Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age date (c. 2500 - 1500 BC). Made on a secondary flake with cortex covering most of the dorsal face, with the exception of the proximal end. At the proximal end is a small striking platform, with a significant bulbar scar. On the ventral face the bulb is shallow, as are the ripples. A fragment of a post-medieval copper-alloy pedestal type seal matrix with an oval sectioned handle, now mostly missing. The face of the seal is oval with a basic incised border around a ?weeping eye, the tears rendered by incised wavy lines below. The handle is broken just above the back of the seal face but would probably have had a suspension loop at the end; alternatively this may have travelled towards the centre of a multi-die matrix. Read (1995, 152) illustrates post-medieval seal matrices which he dates to the 17th century.

A copper-alloy ('latten') spoon handle terminal of the baluster seal knop type. There is just a stub of the stem of the handle surviving: enough to show that its cross-section was sub-oval with a diameter of c. 5.9mm. The knop begins with a shallow double circular collar; the baluster part then flares out to a width of 9.5mm. The baluster is decorated with longitudinally incised lines.
